She has published 12 fantasy novels about werewolves, witches, ghosts, and vampires, and one book of crime fiction. Her latest series for young adults, the Darkest Powers trilogy, also deals with supernatural themes. Kelley lives in rural Ontario with her husband and three kids.

Gordon Korman wrote his first book, This Can't be Happening at MacDonald Hall, starring the delightful duo Bruno and Boots, when he was only 12 years old, as an English assignment. He has gone to write more than 70 books, including the popular Slapshot and Nosepicker series. His most recent books include Pop, Zoobreak and 39 Clues, published by Scholastic. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, he now lives on Long Island, New York, with his wife and three children.

One of North America's top-selling children's book authors, Robert Munsch has sold more than 30 million books worldwide, and his work has been translated into more than a dozen languages. His books The Paper Bag Princess and Love You Forever, published by Annick Press, are considered classics. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Robert now lives in Guelph, Ontario.

TD KIDS BOOK CLUB
The TD Kids Book Club features five books nominated for the TD Canadian Children's Literature Award. The winner will be announced on November 19, and the CBC is running a contest to bring the nominated authors to selected schools in six locations across the country. The $2,500 prize is sponsored by TD Canada Trust and organized and administered by The Canadian Children's Book Centre. Enter to win the five shortlisted books in the Book Club's weekly contest.
