Jen Knoch's one-minute pitch for Good to a Fault

There we have it! With this final vlog for Good to a Fault by Marina Endicott, Jen Knoch of the Keepin' it Real Book Club has completed a full set of pitches for all five Canada Reads contenders, no small feat. Jen, it's been a pleasure to share your enthusiasm with our Book Club members. And best of luck to you and your crew with Civilians Read. If I could offer only one piece of advice going into the debates, it would be this: Books may not have sharp edges, but they still leave a mark. Wise proverb? Or the simple suggestion that when things get heated, you may need to duck? Take it as you will. (But a helmet never hurt anyone.)

Rosie's posted a new question pertaining to Good to a Fault. Of the eclectic cast of characters, she asks, which ones provoked a reaction in you as a reader? Who do you love or hate? (Maybe it's someone you love to hate?) To join this and all our Canada Reads discussions, visit our forums and let us know what you think.

And while you're here, why not kick back and listen in on some Canada Reads author and panelist readings and interviews? Among the current podcasts are Simi Sara talking about how she plans to prepare for her defense of Good to a Fault; Michel Vézina reads from Nicolas Dickner's Nikolski; Douglas Coupland discusses his novel Generation X; Samantha Nutt reads from The Jade Peony; Ann-Marie MacDonald shares her feelings on having Fall on Your Knees selected for Canada Reads; and so much more.
