The CBC Nonfiction Prize is now open for submissions! To inspire you and support you as you write, we have a new CBC Nonfiction Prize writing tips newsletter. Three times a week you will get writing tips from Canadian writers directly in your inbox. We will also post one a week right here on CBC Books.
This week's tip is from Rachel Rose.
Place yourself in the way of inspiration: read, travel, think, do political work, make yourself uncomfortable, get angry. You need not fear running out of creative ideas as long as you live an interesting, engaged life.
Rachel Rose has won awards for her poetry, fiction and nonfiction, including a 2014 Pushcart Prize. She was on the jury for the 2014 CBC Poetry Prize.
