Amazon.ca ranks the most well-read cities in Canada

For the second year in a row, Amazon.ca has released a list of the most well-read cities in Canada.

Based on the sales of both print and digital through Amazon.ca from May 2013 to May 2014, the year two list saw Calgary emerge as the most well-read city in Canada, edging out last year's #1 city, Vancouver. Saskatoon, Regina and Edmonton rounded out the top five.

Saskatchewan came out on top when it came to supporting Canadian literature, purchasing the most Canadian novels out of any province. The #1 book of choice in Saskatchewan? The Canada Reads 2013 finalist Indian Horse by Richard Wagamese.
