Best selling thriller author Tom Clancy has died at age 66. Clancy's publisher confirmed earlier this morning that he died last night in hospital in his home town of Baltimore. In his lifetime, he was best known for his hit books The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger. He wrote about espionage, the Cold War and military science but there was also a quirkier side to him. Here are some unknown quirky facts about Clancy.
