5 memoirs from former captives

Former kidnapping victims Jaycee Dugard and Elizabeth Smart offered words of advice to three women freed earlier this week from their captors after being missing for about a decade.

For now, the women and one child fathered during their captivity remain in seclusion, reuniting with family and starting the healing process of reintegrating into society.

If any of the three women follow in footsteps of Dugard, Smart or other famous kidnapping survivors, we may soon be learning more about their harrowing experience through a possible memoir.
