On November 2, 2011, CBC celebrates its 75th anniversary. CBC Books is taking part in the celebration with a look back at 75 years of Canadian literature. Over the years, CBC has interviewed authors known and new, covered literary awards and hosted book clubs. CBC personalities have written books themselves; others have had books written about them.
To celebrate 75 years of literature on the CBC, we have tons of great stuff planned. All day long, we will be testing your knowledge of literature on CBC on Twitter. Every 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET, we will ask a skill-testing question. The first five people to get it right will win a free book. We will be giving away 75 books in total!
If you're not on Twitter, that's okay! We will also have a regular quiz right here on CBC Books, and you'll have a chance to win one of two Kobo Touch eReaders.
We hope you can join us! Be sure to catch all the action by following @CBCBooks.
(Note: we will be having this contest in lieu of our monthly #CanLit Twitter chat in November. The chats will return to their regular schedule on Thursday, December 2, at 2 p.m. ET.)
