In honour of the occasion, we dove into the archives to find the most memorable moments in CBC's literary history and checked in with some of Canada's top authors.

The result: a video full of candid moments such as Leonard Cohen explaining the relationship between shoes and poetry to then-interviewer and former governor general Adrienne Clarkson.
