Calais on camelina oil

I taste-tested this oil at the Italian Star Deli last month and and fell in love. I use this oil in place of olive oil for salad dressings and hummus. Here is the following recipe for hummus:

1 can of chickpeas (drained and rinsed)

1 clove of garlic

juice of 1/2 a lemon

1/2 cup of oil

1/4 tsp cumin

salt & pepper to taste

Just whiz up everything in a food processor and enjoy!

NOTE: with this oil and the yummy flavour you do not need to add tahini.

While the amounts of the above ingredients are mine, the use of the oil in the hummus was part of the taste test demonstration.
