Gloucester play structure burned down overnight, Ottawa police investigating
Police are treating the fire at the elementary school playground as arson
The Ottawa police arson unit is investigating an overnight fire at a school playground in Gloucester.
A play structure at Le Phare Elementary School at 1965 Naskapi Dr. was destroyed after apparently being purposely set on fire.
Police said they currently have no leads, but the arson unit is investigating the incident.
A representative with the Ottawa-Carleton District School board said maintenance staff at the school is cleaning up the debris left by the fire.
