One of Santa's favourites, the holiday season isn't complete without gingerbread! Get the kids to pitch in and help with the decorating. You can even use them as edible decorations on your dinner table, tree or around the house.

Once baked, they'll keep for up to two weeks in the freezer, so make a batch before the kids are out of school and have them decorate them over the holiday break.
