2 tsp (25mL) meringue powder
1/4 cup (50 mL) water
2 1/4 cups (550 mL) icing sugar
In bowl, beat meringue powder with water until foamy, about 2 minutes. Beat in icing sugar until stiff, adding up to 2 tbsp (25 mL) water to make smooth pipeable icing if necessary, 3 to 5 minutes. Cover with damp cloth to prevent drying out.
