This easy side takes no time at all to whip up.
1 lb (454 g) asparagus, trimmed
2 tbsp (25 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp (25 mL) toasted bread crumbs
1 tbsp (15 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
In large pot of boiling salted water, cook asparagus until tender, 5 minutes. Drain and toss with cheese, crumbs, oil, salt and pepper.
