Episode 1: Summer camp tales with Steven Page

SummerCamp.jpgOn our maiden voyage of Being Jann, Jann re-visits her favourite summer camp adventures, from first kisses to tipping canoes to (eep!) head lice.

Former Barenaked Lady Steven Page pops by the studio to tell us about his days as a music camp geek (and even sings an impromptu duet!).

Jann convinces some complete strangers on the streets of Calgary to share their summer camp horror stories (it's amazing any of us made it out alive).

And after her conversation with hip hop artists Dan Bennett and David Wallace - who managed to write a hit song in just eight hours - Jann decides to do one better.  Listen to the original song Jann composes in just 3 minutes.....in the CBC washroom.

Plus, meet the 17-year old singer from Chilliwack, BC Jann will take under her "musical wing" for the rest of the summer.
