Vote for your favorite ice creamSTV: CBC Radio's ice cream STV election results

Thanks to the more than two thousand listeners who cast a ballot in our STV Ice Cream Election Experiment.

B.C.'s favourite ice cream, and the winner by a landslide is Double Double Chocolate.

According to our results, using the First Past the Post ballot system, B.C. would have a Double Double Chocolate representative in each part of the province.

However, the STV ballot gives us a different ice cream government. Three flavours would be represented -- Double Double Chocolate, Plain Vanilla, and Mint Chocolate Chip. They finished in first, second and third.

One interesting note with the STV balloting -- more than half of voters got their first choice of ice cream elected. And for those who didn't -- most of THEM got their second choice into the top three.

Thanks to everybody who voted on-line for their favourite ice cream.
