Hosted by Stephen Quinn, 28 Days aims to give voters a transparent
look at the issues by going beyond the traditional rhetoric. Airing
on Saturdays from 8 to 9 am on CBC Radio One, listeners can expect a
smart, edgy, and entertaining show that offers a healthy dose of skepticism.
"I'm fascinated with what goes on behind the campaign, and how
the parties use the media to get their message out," says Quinn
"Riding the campaign bus you begin to see the election as a series
of theatrical performances - some good and some bad. We hope to expose
that on 28 Days- to peek behind the curtain and help listeners understand
what is really going on. We think it will help people make a more informed
decision when they go the polls."
Stephen Quinn is best known as host of the popular "Quinn's Quiz"
on The Early Edition. He has a long history covering politics - including
the 1996 and 2001 provincial elections.
The supporting cast will include Joy MacPhail and Christy Clark - veterans
of the BC political scene who will weigh in on the issues of the week.

Stephen Quinn joined CBC Radio five years ago as a civic affairs reporter
covering the lower mainland. He's a familiar voice to CBC listeners
as a guest host on The Early Edition, BC Almanac, and On The Coast.
He also hosts the popular "Quinn's Quiz" on The Early Edition
Thursday mornings.
This will be the third provincial election campaign Stephen has covered.
He spent most of the '96 campaign in the basement of the legislature,
buried in press releases issued by the two major parties, and tallying
the cost of election promises. In 2001 he split his time between the
NDP and Liberal campaign buses - following the candidates across the
province and following Gordon Campbell to the podium on election night.
Stephen is fascinated with what goes on behind the scenes in political
campaigns and how the parties use the media to get their message out.
He sees 28 Days giving listeners a "peek behind the curtain"
to help people make a more informed decision when they go to the polls.
Stephen is a native of Ottawa, but doesn't want that held against him!
He has lived in Vancouver for more than 20 years. When he's not working
he's worrying about work.
