Core Connections
As our communities become more densely populated, as we become more sophisticated in our understanding of the need for proper nutrition and exercise, and as technology improves to connect us so quickly, there's a parallel irony emerging. Many people feel more disconnected than ever. From friends, family and nature. We'll bring you a special Core Connections series starting Monday on B.C. Almanac that will examine personal and public initiatives to try and understand -- and address this unhealthy trend. Thanks to listener Susan Camilleri Konar for sharing this cartoon she did for the Wall Street Journal. It speaks volumes.
