Rising from the ashes

It was almost a year ago that people in Fort Langley awakened to sirens and a huge fire. The local grocery store was being completely consumed by flames after a bungled burglary. A big loss for a small community. The IGA was a community meeting place...conversations spilled out of the aisles. Today the Lee family turns a page as a ceremonial shovel goes into the ground with construction about to begin. As a resident of the Fort, I know there are many who wish the Lees all the best. Things should return to normal by next summer.
