Cockpit with a view

This is the view just a few minutes after take-off from Comox Harbour. Tree Island in the foreground, Denman Island in the distance. It was a thrill to be aboard an early 50's De Havilland Beaver built before I was born (operated today by Harbour Air.)

Our CBC Neighbourhood

These lovely Victorian homes are just just down the street from CBC on Hamilton Street. Built in 1893, they're in the Queen Anne style -- and in marked contrast to nearby concrete and glass towers.

September Song

Well, it's a long, long time
From May to December.
But the days grow short,
When you reach September.
