Klahowya = Welcome

George Taylor is the enthusiastic leader of the Le-La-La Dancers from the Kwakwaka'wakw First Nation on Northern Vancouver Island. He's also part of Klahowya Village at Stanley Park, operated by the Aboriginal Tourism Association of B.C. Jump aboard the Spirit Catcher Train, see live cultural performances, aboriginal crafts and listen to traditional storytelling. With more than 40 different First Nations involved, it's an excellent place to learn more about B.C.'s diverse aboriginal communities. More to come on B.C. Almanac.
