Normally I don't take CBC cameras on my holidays. But when the trip involves wandering a Yukon mountain with donkeys carrying the gear, why not?
I wanted to go on a donkey trek in the Yukon as part of another film project. But when I imagined that trip, I had no idea that anyone there actually had donkeys. Fortunately, I was able to connect with Greg and Krystal Carais, publishers of a great magazine about the Yukon called North of Ordinary. They not only own donkeys - they were itching to go on their first trek with them. What do you think, is this the start of a new tourist industry? Noodles and Jane
