5:30 – 8:30 a.m. The Early Edition with host Rick Cluff. Wake up early and join us for lively interviews with Hockey Night in Canada's Scott Russell and others. Also check out CBC's George Stroumboulopoulos as he interviews Richard Brodeur. George will be on site meeting fans throughout the day.
Musical performances include the popular Chor Leoni Men's Choir, a very special song by CBC Hot Air's host Margaret Gallagher, and The "Night Before Christmas Crawlers" led by Cory Weeds and vocalists Adam Thomas, Jennifer Scott and Jillian Lebeck.
9 – 11 a.m. A very unique live broadcast of CBC Radio 3 to Sirius Channel 152 and a live webcast.
Noon – 3 p.m. A special joint edition of B.C. Almanac and weekend favourite North by Northwest. Hosts Mark Forsythe and Sheryl MacKay interview BC Lions coach Wally Buono and many others.
Musical performances include Randy Bachman, Roasted Chestnut Orchestra featuring T. Nile and Silvana Kane, Jill Barber, and Chad Brownlee with Hayley McLean.
3 – 6 p.m. Another special joint broadcast for Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island featuring On The Coast and All Points West with Stephen Quinn and Jo-Ann Roberts. In addition to interviews with local personalities like chef David Hawksworth.
Musical performances include Hannah Georgas, Roasted Chestnut Orchestra, Cover Me Canada finalist Ali Milner and 54/40.
5 – 6:30 p.m. The evening ends with CBC News Vancouver at 5, 5:30 and 6 p.m. live from the news set with Tony Parsons, Gloria Macarenko, Claire Martin and Shane Foxman.
8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Get a behind the scenes look at the state-of-the-art integrated newsroom and CBC Radio One's Studio 10. Meet CBC hosts and reporters and take a turn at being a weather presenter on the set of CBC's Weather Centre West. Bring the kids to meet Peter Puck and Super WHY!
