Langley Township
Incorporated in 1873, the Township of Langley has a total land area of 306.93 square km. It is located on the south bank of the Fraser River. Langley Township is in the Metro Vancouver District.
The 2006 census lists the Township of Langley’s population at 93,726 with 12.1% of residents being over the age of 65. 17.1% of the District's population are immigrants with 84.1% declaring English as their first language. German is listed as the second most common language for the region.
14% of Langley Township's residents are renters. The median after-tax income for families is $68,384 with an unemployment rate of 3.5%.
