Your confirmed event booking for Studio 700 includes the following

  • 1. 12' x 16' stage (16" high) in the northwest corner of Studio 700 (see photo gallery photo)
  • 2. Basic lighting for this stage with an ETC Smartfade 2496 lighting console
  • 3. 12' 3" lighting grid PDF icon (106 kb)
  • 4. 140 folding chairs (community user responsible for setting up and striking)
  • 5. 10 x six-foot folding tables
  • 6. private single washroom, makeup room and green room (note: additional washrooms for an audience are located one floor down on P Floor, via Atrium elevator and stairs)
  • 7. air conditioning, heat and power
  • 8. handicap access (available to lobby, studio and washrooms)
  • 9. locking closet in the east lobby of studio
  • 10. stage door entering east lobby
  • 11. blacks

Note: In general we do not allow integration of any outside technical gear with St.700 in house technical systems (lights and sound system). If you bring your own sound system it must operate as a "stand alone" system (no use of any part of the St.700 PA system). If you need to add to the lighting system you must contact the Revenue manager for pre-approval of any extra light instruments in advance (2 weeks notice required). These requests may or may not be approved depending on both technical specs and scheduling of time between clients to assess that the studio re-set has been accomplished successfully. An assessment charge of 1 hour at $50 will be charged, and any further time needed to restore the studio to its standard set-up will be charged out at $50 per hour.

  • 5 ft. (60") round tables = $10 per table
  • 42" high (30") cocktail tables = $10 per table
  • 6 ft (30") black table clothes = 90" x 156" = $15 per tablecloth
  • black padded chairs = $4 per chair
  • Studio 700 comes with: 140 folding chairs, 10 x 6ft tables, 12' x 16' stage, lights for studio.

    Labour

  • Stagehand = $50/hour ($75/hour after 8 hours)
  • Audio Technician = $50/hour ($75/hour after 8 hours)
  • Lighting Technician = $50/hour ($75/hour after 8 hours)
