Hyperlocal: Put Your Story on the Map

Call for submissions!

CBC Canada Writes presents
Put Your Story on the Map
April 3-May 3, 2012

Hyperlocal brings together true personal stories of changing neighbourhoods from
Canadians across the country, guest bloggers and well-known writers.

We want to know what's new and changing in your neighbourhood and what that
change means to you. You can do that by uploading your personal stories of local
change (text-based stories, photo essays, audio, video) to an interactive story map at
www.cbc.ca/hyperlocal (launching April 3).

All stories will be available to be read online, and at the end of the month a jury will
select the most compelling submission from the public. The winning story will be turned
into a web-based interactive by the National Film Board of Canada's Digital Studio, and
the winner will receive a laptop computer.

Rules and regulations can be found at www.cbc.ca/hyperlocal.

The deadline to submit is May 3, 2013.

To find out more, and to put your story on the map, visit www.cbc.ca/hyperlocal.
