Hungry for change? Join CBC News Vancouver's Gloria Macarenko as she hosts the 26th annual West Coast LEAF Equality Breakfast.

Inspire and be inspired, catch up with old friends and meet new ones, and raise money for West Coast LEAF's upcoming projects in the areas of legal education, law reform, and litigation at the 26th Annual Equality Breakfast. 

Gloria Macarenko will interview Carmen Aguirre, actor and author of Something Fierce: Memoirs of a Revolutionary Daughter, and winner of CBC's 2012 Canada Reads award. Through her work Aguirre has helped raise awareness in Canada and abroad about Pinochet's violent regime, which extended from 1973 to 1990 and included the torture and internment of many Chilean citizens.

The West Coast Legal Education and Action Fund's (LEAF) is a non-profit society in BC and a federally registered charity with a mission to achieve equality by changing historic patterns of discrimination against women through BC-based equality rights litigation, law reform, and public legal education.
