Failing Our Kids? A special On The Coast forum

Is BC's public education system broken?

As the kids head back to school, CBC Radio One's On The Coast examines B.C.'s public education system with a special public forum on Wednesday, September 12.

Join host Stephen Quinn and his special guests to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the current public education system, and where we go from here. Our panelists include  Ann Whiteaker, past president of the B.C. Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils; Jerry Li, Grade 11 student from Surrey; Chris Kennedy, superintendent, West Vancouver School District; and Peter Cowley, director of school performance studies at the Fraser Institute

Join this candid discussion which takes place from 4:00 - 6:00pm on Wednesday, September 12 at Vancouver Technical Secondary School at 2600 East Broadway, Vancouver. You can also weigh that day in during a live online chat on our homepage or on Twitter by using the hashtag #otcforum and follow along with @CBCStephenQuinn@CBCVancouver.

RSVPs are now closed but you are welcome to down to the forum. Admission is free and open to the public.
