News Day in BC is back!

2010_NewsDay Web Banner_BLOG_v2.jpgHave you ever thought about being a reporter, wondered what it would be like to chase a story and then broadcast it on TV, radio, online or in print? Well, here's your chance to try it for yourself. News Day in BC is back for a fourth year. The project is open to all high school students from grades 10-12 from across Metro Vancouver. Sign up for a journalism workshop held at the CBC Vancouver Broadcast Centre in downtown Vancouver on January 21st and 22nd, 2012.

You can meet CBC and Vancouver Sun personalities, learn more about the exciting world of journalism and find out how you can get involved in News Day.

After the workshop, come back and audition for a spot on this year's News Day team. Show us what you've got and compete for one of this year's coveted spots. Come find out if you have what it takes to make to the Final 30. Each finalist will also receive a $1000 scholarship from Sylvan Learning.
