"This is a very special year for us as we mark 25 years of raising funds for food banks in the province," says Johnny Michel, managing director of CBC British Columbia. "The need continues to grow and we are pleased to have so many of our local and network stars support this cause once again. We hope the public will come down and show their support as well."

Rick Cluff, host of The Early Edition, starts off the day with a live broadcast at 5:30 am followed by CBC Radio 3. Special joint broadcasts of BC Almanac and North by Northwest, On The Coast and All Points West, will continue the live experience in Studio 700.
