To mark its 75th anniversary, Radio-Canada is organizing a public birthday bash filled with art, music and fun for all. On Saturday, October 1 at 6 p.m., Radio-Canada invites you to the Vancouver Broadcast Centre at 700 Hamilton Street for a festive evening featuring an art exhibit, concert and dance party.
Inspired by the theme "Un monde mediatisé" ("A Media-Frenzied World"), 21 West Coast artists teamed up to create seven original works using the Exquisite Corpse approach invented by the Surrealists of the 1920s. The art will be sold off in a silent auction open to all bidders, with proceeds going to the Red Cross's Horn of Africa Drought Appeal.
