Waterfront Fun at the Harmony Arts Festival

The 21st annual Harmony Arts Festival turns the West Vancouver waterfront into an open-air celebration of the arts from July 29 - August 7. Visitors can enjoy art exhibitions, artist talks and HAF2010.jpgdemonstrations, a Cinema in the Park, over fifty distinct concerts, and a unique wine and culinary experience in the Wine Garden.

Come experience the excitement and sounds of this award winning Festival along Ambleside and John Lawson Park. From rock, blues and jazz, to classical and world music, there is something for everyone and all musical tastes.

The 2011 festival proudly features the new upscale Art Market with a line-up of artists and artisans selected by an esteemed jury. Taking over Argyle Avenue along the waterfront for the first time, 60+ artists and artisans from British Columbia and Ontario will be selling original creations.  Festival visitors will find one-of-a-kind pottery, jewellery, fashion, leather goods, paintings, wood-work, glass and more.  Come meet the talented artists and purchase a unique work of art.

Also, new to the festival this year are two exciting ticketed events; The Artist's Circle Celebration and Preview Exhibition which will feature artists Gordon Smith and Douglas Coupland for an evening of artist talks and a celebration of the visual arts on August 3. Also, be sure not to miss Best of the West on August 4th, an evening of unparalleled culinary experience on the pier at the bottom of 14th street in West Vancouver. Sample culinary delights from 10 premium North Shore restaurants while sipping wine from 10 BC wineries.
