Hockey fans, if you've been hit by playoff fever then you need to come to CBC Vancouver's outdoor plaza this Friday, April 23 for "Hockey Night on Hamilton Street"!

Starting at 3 p.m., we'll be hosting a party on our plaza while broadcasting the hockey playoff games on our jumbo outdoor screen so you can cheer on your favourite team with fellow fans. From 3 - 6 p.m., CBC Radio One's On The Coast with Stephen Quinn will be doing the show live from the outdoor stage which will be followed by be a live broadcast of CBC News Vancouver after the first game. This is your chance to meet the CBC "home team" because we'll be hosting meet and greets with Tony Parsons, Gloria Macarenko, Shane Foxman, Ann Luu, and The Early Edition's Rick Cluff!

To add to the fun, those curious Green Guys that you've seen hanging out behind the Canucks penalty box and popular anthem singer Mark Donnelly will be there. You can test your slap shot skills against a live goalie in our inflatable hockey shoot out area, then challenge your fiercest opponent to a game on the bubble hockey tables. We'll be giving away Hockey Night in Canada and CBC prizes throughout the event so stay for the night!
