"Vancouver Welcomes the World" with Rick Cluff

The 2010 Olympic Games are quickly approaching and CBC Radio One 88.1FM / 690AM in Vancouver is the station that will get you up to speed on everything to do with the biggest event to hit our city. Starting January 3, 2010 at 8:30am and every following Saturday morning leading up to the start of the Games, tune in as host Rick Cluff counts down with you.

As "Vancouver Welcomes the World," you'll get an inside peek on what your neighbours are doing to join in the spirit. You'll learn what it takes to be an Olympic volunteer to hearing stories from kids who are taking part by committing to read 20,010 book prior to the opening ceremonies.  We'll also give you the scoop on the British Columbians and Canadians to watch as they battle their way to Olympic victory.  Plus, you'll be taken on a special trip back in time...just listen starting January 3, 2010 to find out what it's all about!
