WHEN TO VOTE people in Canada can vote during and after each performance show from 7:00 pm ET to 1:59 am ET. The first vote is on Sunday September 25, the next is during a special Monday performance show September 26 (7:00 pm ET to 1:59 am ET) and there is another vote every Sunday until the final vote on Sunday November 13th.

HOW TO VOTE Canadians have two ways that they can vote: 1) Online 2) Phone
During the voting period, you can vote from the official Battle of the Blades’ Facebook Application. You will be required to login with your Facebook account to vote via online. If you do not have a Facebook account, please sign up, or select the phone voting option. Online votes are limited to one per person every minute during each voting period.

NOTE: Battle of the Blades monitors and controls technical attempts to interfere with or manipulate fair and accurate voting results. Battle of the Blades reserves the right to remove blocks of votes generated by automated mass calling, scripting or other means.

A: Head over to cbc.ca/battle/vote.html and follow the instructions to install the Battle of the Blades Vote App. You will be required to login with your Facebook account to install the Battle of the Blades Vote App, but beyond that it’s a simple couple of clicks and you’re on!
Q. I'm using phone to vote and I keep getting busy signals. How come?
A. Lines can be extremely busy. Please keep trying, or vote online.
Q. I cannot call from a payphone?
A. No. Calls from payphones will be blocked, so use a standard landline or cell phone instead to vote.
Q. After each performance, the judges score the performers. Does this count towards their final score?
A. Yes, the judges’ votes are blended with audience votes. However, audience votes have a greater weighting. Your vote counts, so please vote often to save your favourite pair from elimination.

Q: What is the Fan Score?
A: Everyone who uses the Battle of the Blades Vote App accumulates a weekly Fan Score based on a combination of social activity. The most active 100 fans appear on the Fan Chart and may be eligible to win special virtual achievements and rewards.
Q: What is the Fan Chart?
A: The Fan Chart displays the top 100 fans with the highest Fan Scores relative to all fans. Fans who have been identified in the top 90 percentile of all Fan Scores, will be designated as “Superfans” and are eligible to win special virtual achievements and rewards.
Q: What is the Judges’ Leaderboard?
A: The Judges’ Leaderboard displays the rankings of each competing pair according to the judges’ decisions and fan votes. This chart is updated weekly and includes who was voted off the previous week.
Q: When are new challenges released?
A: There will be two new challenge released every week, one on Tuesdays and one on Fridays. Fans who complete challenges earn virtual achievements.
