Bandwidth: Remembrance Day episode - Music muses on war

Most Canadian musicians haven't directly experienced war, and yet an inordinate number of them find themselves writing about it in one way or another. For this special episode in honour of Remembrance Day, I'll speak to Kathleen Edwards about her experience playing for the Canadian troops in Afghanistan. Miss Emily Brown and Olenka & the Autumn Lovers both used their own family histories as a jumping-off point for their WWII muses. Plus we'll hear from Peter Katz, Saint Alvia, Morgan Friend, and Sylvia Pollard.
