Canadian Folk Music Award nominees on Airwaves

cfma-title-white.png This week on Atlantic Airwaves we are bursting with pride for all the East Coast musicians nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award. The awards will be announced next week in Calgary (Nov. 8th - 10th) and we're turning the entire show over to hear from every one of our nominees: Mary Jane Lamond and Wendy MacIsaac, Chrissy Crowley, Rachel Davis, Maxim Cormier, Stephen Fearing, Vishten, Old Man Luedecke, Ian Sherwood, Ten Strings and a Goat Skin, Mo Kenney and Ashley Condon. Congrats to everyone and good luck! Tune in Sat. at 10 on CBC Radio 2 and at 5 past 5 on CBC Radio 1 for some of the best music made in our region.
