Dinuk Wijeratne on Atlantic Airwaves

TablaIMG_8317_16x9_620x350.JPGThis week on Atlantic Airwaves we devote the entire show to the musical worlds of Dinuk Wijeratne. Dinuk is a composer, conductor and piano player and he drops by to chat with host Stephanie Domet about his Concerto for Tabla and Orchestra that he composed for Symphony Nova Scotia and tabla player Ed Hanley. He also partnered up with DJ Skratch Bastid at last years Jazz Fest for a musical adventure you won't want to miss. Tune in Saturday at 10 on CBC Radio 2 and 5 past 5 on CBC Radio 1 for some of the very best music made right here in the Maritimes.
