Yes as we gear up for the East Coast Music Week in Halifax, this week on Atlantic Airwaves we'll feature all of the nominees from the Album, Group and the Song of the Year categories in this year's East Coast Music Awards. All 3 awards will be presented at the Gala event on Sunday, March 10th. Tune into Atlantic Airwaves - Saturday at 10 a.m. on CBC Radio 2 and 5 past 5 on CBC Radio One for some of the best music made in this region.

This concert is from the Tall Ships Festival on the Halifax waterfront. Tune in Saturday at 10 a.m. on CBC Radio 2 and 5 past 5 on CBC Radio One. Andy Brown and The Caravan featured on Airwaves

Andy performs tunes from his most recent CD and also a couple that will appear on his new CD titled 'Tinman' due out in the next month or so. For more info go to Andy Brown's webpage.

With vocalist Kyle Mckenna this band has a fresh approach to melding musical styles and genres. Tune in Saturday morning on CBC Radio 2 @ 10 a.m. and at 5 after 5 on CBC Radio 1 in the afternoon.
