About the Show - Broadcast Times
Crew
Mark Tunney, Producer
Rachel Mark Tunney and his wife, Jane Tunney.
Rachel and I have been friends since we first worked together in the late '90s. We're not soul mates; we don't complete each other, but we agree on what makes good radio: raw storytelling from regular people, imaginative production; journalism that isn't afraid of being dramatic or creating a meditative space; a listening experience that's never predictable and makes listeners reflect on their own experiences.
I like the chase as much as any reporter, but I love the dance - figuring out how we're going to tell the collective narrative, how we're going to navigate all the notes. When I put on the headphones, I really get into my zone. Like no other medium, radio has the power to create journalistic symphonies.
