A Minneapolis resident is on a mission to save abandoned urban chickens


To many urbanites, having your very own chicken coop has become the ultimate in street cred. Fresh eggs, a rooster alarm clock - it's all very cool. However, once the hard work of keeping chickens kicks in, the allure begins to fade and some hipsters are increasingly abandoning their birds.
  This unwanted urban chicken trend is worrying Minneapolis resident Mary Britton Clouse. So much so, she has set up a chicken sanctuary to deal with the problem. Listen to Ms Britton Clouse tell us about the Chicken Run Rescue.
