On June 22, 19-year-old Lucy Millsap took the Big Fish prize, along with the $1500. purse, at the Okie Noodling Tournament in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She did it by hauling a 33 kilogram flathead catfish out of a hole in a muddy lake, with her bare hands.

The member of the all-female Noodling group, the Bare Knuckle Babes, is the first woman to ever take top honours at the tournament.

We reached Lucy Millsap, in Quinlan, Texas.
