Loblaw has vowed to change the way it does business in Bangladesh. At a news conference in Toronto, it promised to become a "force for good" in the country. The company said it would now make sure factories it uses are inspected for structural integrity, place more staff on the ground, and set up a fund for victims of the collapse and their families. Scott Nova is the Executive Director of the Workers Rights Consortium, an organization which monitors factory conditions around the world, including in Bangladesh.
