Kidney Bean leaf kills bedbugs

Bedbug infestations are on the rise around the world. Now researchers at UC Irvine are looking into an old practice for new hope in fighting the blood-sucking pests.
Based on the Eastern European practice of using bean leaves to stop the bugs, researchers are studying how kidney bean leaves could be used to combat bedbugs.
Their results have led them to develop a leaf-like material.
Watch their video to see the Kidney bean leaf in action, and listen as we speak with one of the researchers.
