Penguin - Random House merger has created the world's largest publisher of consumer books.
This evening, the winner of the 2012 Scotiabank Giller Prize will be announced, and on this day of celebrating the best of Canadian literature, it does seem fitting to take a look at the future of publishing in our fair land.
The merger of Random House and Penguin Books has created the world's largest publisher of consumer books.
And in Canada, you can't help but wonder what that means for smaller independent publishers.
