The Ig Nobels honour scientific papers that feature experiments that may be, shall we say, of dubious value. The 2012 awards were given out last Thursday at Harvard University. Marc Abrahams is the editor of the Annals of Improbable Science, and is also the Ig Nobel awards master of ceremonies. We reached him in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
