On Tuesday night, the National Youth Orchestra of Iraq performed with British cellist, Julian Lloyd Webber in London.

The journey from Baghdad to the stage of Queen Elizabeth Hall was no small feat. In a society still threatened by fundamentalism, the musicians often practice in secret and many taught themselves to play.
