Many of us know the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League because of that movie, A League of Their Own. But for real-life players like Daisy Junor, the league was well-known back in 1946 and it was a dream come true.
Ms. Junor, an all-star outfielder for the South Bend Blue Sox, died Sunday, in Regina. She was 92.

Delores "Dolly" Brumfield White played with Daisy Junor in South Bend.
