All things being relative, it's a good day for chickens.

By 2017, Burger King has committed to using only cage-free eggs. And they're also working with pork producers to phase out what are called "gestation crates" -- the tiny stalls in which pregnant sows are kept.

Matt Prescott is the food policy director for The Humane Society of the United States. He's been working with Burger King for six years on its animal welfare policies.
