Would you like two thousand Euros with that? A Munich art gallery is forced to pay over two thousand Euro for two French fries.
In 1991, German artist Stefan Bohnenberger unveiled "Pommes D'Or" : two French fries, covered in gold leaf, formed into a cross. Of course, Mr. Bohnenberger didn't just slap gold on a couple of fries and cross them. First, he explored fry imagery using two ordinary French fries as a template.Last year, Stefan Bohnenberger asked his Munich gallery for the ordinary fries back.
Which was awkward. Because the gallery couldn't find them.
