Clearly, all these cities are proud of their homespun heroes of rock. But probably not quite the same head-banging, all-the-way-to-eleven way the city of Birmingham, England, is.

Birmingham is the home of the metal icons, Black Sabbath, and city councillor Philip Parkin wants city council to adopt 'Black Sabbath Day.' Mr. Parkin is trying to convince fellow councillors to vote in favour of a civic day honouring the band.
Personally, I think, why not?
